ANVORIC is an emergency, safety, health, medication, and family-support application.
This Privacy Policy explains the main categories of personal information ANVORIC processes and why they are used.
1. Information you provide or create
Depending on the features you use, ANVORIC may process account and authentication information; profile information; health readings and health logs; medication information and medication activity; daily check-ins, wellness entries, and tasks; emergency contact details; guardian and family-link information; SOS event information; feedback and support messages; and privacy and consent choices.
2. Location
When you trigger location-enabled safety features and grant permission, ANVORIC may process device location information to provide useful location context with an emergency alert. If precise location is unavailable or permission is denied, supported safety functions may continue with reduced or no location information. ANVORIC's current data-retention design limits SOS location data to a maximum of 30 days, subject to legitimate technical or legal requirements.
3. Emergency communications
When you trigger an SOS or another enabled family-safety communication, relevant information may be sent to emergency contacts or linked guardians you selected. This can include information necessary to understand the alert, such as your name, available location context, alert time, and emergency message.
4. Health, reports, and first aid
Health logs and report-related features are intended to help users organize and understand information. They are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
5. Optional analytics
ANVORIC may offer an optional setting allowing simple product-usage events to be used to improve reliability and usability. This choice is optional and can be changed from Privacy & Consent. ANVORIC does not sell this information.
6. Optional research and future model improvement
ANVORIC may separately offer an optional research or future model-improvement choice. Where enabled, eligible pseudonymous product information may be used for that purpose. Private notes, precise location, and raw health or emergency content are excluded from this optional use. This option is off by default and can be changed later.
7. Service providers
ANVORIC uses technical service providers needed to operate functions such as authentication, database storage, notifications, and transactional communications. The current architecture includes Supabase for supported backend and authentication functions and Expo services for supported push-notification functionality.
8. Data sharing
ANVORIC does not sell personal data. Information may be shared with emergency contacts or guardians when required by a feature you initiate or enable; with technical service providers needed to operate ANVORIC; when required by applicable law; or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or another person's rights or safety.
9. Security
ANVORIC uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. Protected backend data is designed to use authenticated access controls and Row-Level Security. No software or network system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Data retention
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods according to the feature involved. ANVORIC is designed to avoid retaining precise SOS location information longer than necessary and currently limits that category to a maximum of 30 days. Other account information may remain while the account is active unless deleted earlier or longer retention is legally required.
11. Account deletion
ANVORIC includes an account-deletion flow. When a valid deletion request completes, the system is designed to remove the user's account and associated application data handled by that deletion process, subject to limited information that may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or technical reasons.
12. Your choices
Supported privacy controls are available from Profile → Privacy & Consent. Optional analytics and research choices can be changed without disabling core emergency, health, medication, or family functionality. Device permissions such as location and notifications can also be controlled through device settings.
13. International processing
Technical service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where this occurs, processing is subject to the safeguards and contractual protections applicable to those providers and services.
14. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when ANVORIC's features or data practices materially change. The effective date will be updated when a revised version becomes applicable.
